I have had the pleasure of knowing Bryan Auld for the past 14 years. Bryan is a visionary leader. He is insightful, inventive, highly creative, and utterly forward-looking. He is a natural problem-solver who approaches problems with indefatigable commitment, and he indeed succeeds at fixing problems. At the same time, his collaborative leadership style had a powerfully empowering impact on the students, teachers, and staff around him. Although I write as a parent, I cannot help but return to my profession as a Cognitive Neuroscientist. Bryan’s knowledge of contemporary theory and practice in Education K-12, Curriculum Design, Teacher Training, Educational and Institutional Leadership, and the Learning Sciences is outstanding. To be sure, Bryan is vastly talented, a brilliant educator and institutional leader, a highly original and creative 21st Century innovator, and an individual with the highest personal integrity.

I had the good fortune of having Bryan Auld as my middle school principal as well as for three years through secondary school. He is an insightful professional, who is a strong advocate for his students, their success and their well-being. His interest in helping others is sincere and allows him to meaningfully connect with each of his students and their parents. Mr. Auld’s support and guidance were instrumental in my academic success in high school and helping me to achieve my goal of completing a medical degree.
